Be careful changing money at the airport as they may charge higher fees or offer worse exchange rates.

Check the exchange rate and conversion fees on your debit and credit cards before leaving home. It is also a good idea to advise your bank of where you will be going to avoid your card being frozen if you need to use it overseas.

10,000 IDR = $1.00 AUS 20,000 IDR = $2.00 AUS

50,000 IDR = $5.00 AUS 100,000 IDR = $10.00 AUS
